THE LIGHT

Y busqué desesperado esa luz que me cegara de felicidad, y encontré a mucha gente por el camino, personas que van y que vienen, anécdotas para recordar, pesadillas que olvidar, ilusiones, promesas… y aquella luz no apareció.

Arrastrándome por los callejones del dolor avanzaba sobre la oscuridad, creí en mucha gente, confié en cualquier persona que me dio su mano, aunque luego me la quitó, tu me aconsejabas…pero yo no sabía escuchar.

Perdí la ilusión por aquellas cosas que antes me hacían sonreír, pensé en el final cuando era solo el principio, abrí los ojos y me desperté, miré hacia mi alrededor y nada me causaba dolor…aquella luz me había acompañado durante todo este tiempo
